This is a celebration of Abdirahman Warsame's book launch and awareness about drug addiction sponsored by Bridge Healing Center in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

Bridge Healing Center founders Ali Aden & Lul Nur are immigrants themselves and understand the challenges immigrants and people of color face when dealing with mental health and addiction problems.

Bridge Healing Center is hosting a NARCAN training event on Tuesday June 7th 2022 at 3:00 PM.

The training will take place at ​22 Wilson Ave NE, Suite 109 St. Cloud, MN 56304

"The goal is to hire diverse staff so everyone could see themselves represented and they will be welcome to talk to any counselors," he said.

At the end of the year the center will offer addiction treatment services, too. Mental health stigma often prevents people from seeking the help they need, and with overdose deaths on the rise in Central Minnesota it's more important than ever to have resources like this available, Aden said.
